The life

Twelve years ago, I brought this giant flower shoot to life.

It was in 2007, at the 3rd Sculpture Symposium of the Maison des Arts et de la Culture in Saint-Faustin-Lac-Carré, that I created my largest wood sculpture to date. During this event, I had the opportunity to meet wonderful people passionate about culture. A week of intensive work, carrying a bag of ice on my shoulders every night, but above all, the ultimate feeling of living my passion to the fullest. Quite an adventure for the budding artist I was!

This work entitled "Life" is for me my flower of life . It has flourished over all these years, well established and maintained by the people of this charming little village of Saint-Faustin-Lac-Carré.

This artwork represents the cycle of life, and now it has faded away this autumn, returning to the earth. Such is life!
