My artistic life in four major stages

The source - Chibougamau

The place of my birth, my childhood, and my adolescence, because even though I left at 14, my heart remained there. A fertile place that forged my connection with nature and the flora that nourished my imagination. A place where my parents passed on their knowledge and their passion for life: from drawing to crafts, from painting to sculpture, from textile arts to sewing, from decorating to woodworking, and much more...

The explosion of my imagination - Montreal

After a brief period in the Laurentians, I moved to Montreal to study graphic design, where the explosion of my ideas led me to enroll in visual arts at UQAM. Throughout my studies, I worked in the arts community, showcasing all my skills—computer graphics, costume design, props, set design, exhibition installation, and more. I ultimately completed my bachelor's degree over a very long period to fully benefit from all these wonderful experiences that have shaped the artist I am today.

Reconnecting with nature - The Laurentians

The call of nature and a vital need for space brought me back to the mountains after more than 12 years in Montreal. Yet another move that disrupted my routine. The transition was slow but necessary for my well-being. I worked outdoors, winter and summer, which allowed me to reconnect with my surroundings. It was during this time that I began to take a closer interest in painting, and my love for wood grew and became one of my favorite materials.

The Nest - Sainte-Martine

It was love that brought me to the Montérégie region, and it's here that I decided to put down roots and set up my studios. My artistic passion intensified, becoming a daily and more assertive activity. My living environment is very inspiring, and my multidisciplinary approach can be fully expressed. Whether in my paintings, videos, sculptures, or furniture, I create works that are vibrant, fluid, organic, and harmonious.

The contemplative person in me is always amazed by nature, and my art brings me back to my native land and elevates my life.
